Head of Market Forecasts
Fabrice Valentin was appointed Head of Market Forecasts at Airbus in September 2014, in charge of a diverse department with competencies ranging from economy to data science. Their mission is to conduct market studies defining the Airbus product strategy and they are the ones behind the Airbus Global Market Forecast, a leading 20-year commercial aviation forecast.
On top of these activities, Fabrice is leading an intrapreneurship project as part of the Airbus BizLab aiming at providing an innovative digital service solution for the air transport industry.
Previous to this, Fabrice Valentin has been involved with technology valuation for the CTO and working for the Strategy department of Airbus in Toulouse headquarters as well as Operations in Germany.
Fabrice Valentin has studied both in France and Germany and graduated as electrical engineer from the Karlsruhe University in 2004.
Before joining Airbus and after being involved in a few start-ups, he ran R&D projects for a German automotive supplier in several countries, USA (California), and India (Bangalore), where he set up an engineering department.
In his free time, Fabrice enjoys playing the piano, surfing and skiing with family and friends. He is also part of the maker movement and is currently setting up his own Fab lab.
