How successful co-marketing activities between Airports, Airlines and Regions can drive passenger throughput

Cooperation between the ‘golden triangle' of Airport, Airline and Regions has now become fundamental to an Airport successfully growing its passenger throughput, and to ensuring the success of both new and existing routes. This short course will highlight the basic principles behind a joint approach, how partnerships can be developed, which stakeholders need to be engaged, and outline best practice approaches and examples from around the world.

Who wants to be the CEO?

The aviation industry is expecting 7.2 billion passengers by 2035 – double today's figure! What used to be a “death trap for investors” in the words of Warren Buffett, has seen its holding raising investment in the sector to 10 billion USD in 2017 since the industry “got that bad century out of the way”. A positive outlook, with exciting new market opportunities. But actually, how do airlines know how well they are performing? What criteria do they use to figure this out? How do they know what to really look for to measure success?

Let's get a proper understanding of what our key industry performance indicators are and how to apply them to your route development analysis. We will be presenting the major indicators which are widely tracked within a network and schedule planning department of an airline, in an interactive role play where two teams will compete to be the most successful air carrier of CONNECT 2019!

Come and join us to learn, interract, and have fun!
