Marc Rochet is the Chief Executive Officer of Air Caraïbes since 2004. He has successfully driven the development of the long-haul network and the launch of the French Blue project (the first French long-haul, low-cost airline). Marc also founded and headed the airline L’avion in 2006.

He began his career as an engineer assigned to the Air Inter’s Technical Department (1976). In 1979, he joined Air Guadeloupe as Technical Director before becoming Director at Europe Aéro Service in 1982. Back at Air Inter, he was appointed Orly-Ouest Station Manager and then became General Manager of the company Aéromaritime, a UTA subsidiary, in 1998.

As the Chief Executive Officer, Marc merged Air Outre Mer and Minerve in 1991, under the brand AOM. From 1996 to 2001, he held the function of Chief Executive Officer of the airline companies TAT, Air Liberté, AOM and Air Littoral. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Travelprice.com from 2001 to 2003.

Finally, Marc has created Aerogestion, a consulting firm specialised in the airline and tourism industries. With a dozen of experts, Aerogestion stands out by offering pragmatic and operational support. The company has particularly developed its revenue management department, a domain which has become essential in optimising revenues in any industry where goods and services are not storable.
